Haa Retreat - 5 Days

Day 1:

Paro to Haa via
Chele La Pass

Depart from Paro, taking a scenic drive to Haa Valley via the breathtaking Chele La Pass, the highest road pass in Bhutan, offering panoramic views and a chance to see diverse flora. Upon arrival in Haa, explore the Haa Dzong, a fortress that provides insight into the region's history and culture. Spend the evening at leisure in Haa, soaking in the valley's tranquility.



Day 2:  

Cultural Exploration in Haa

Visit Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple), ancient monasteries that are central to the valley's spiritual life. Experience traditional Bhutanese life with a visit to a local family, enjoying homemade delicacies and learning about daily routines. Explore Haa's picturesque landscapes and rural charm on an evening walk.



Day 3: 

Morning Haa and Afternoon Paro

Spend the morning on a nature hike in Haa Valley, exploring its rich biodiversity and serene environment. Midday, begin your return to Paro. En route, stop at traditional villages to witness the local way of life. Upon arrival in Paro, visit Rinpung Dzong, a fortress and monastery that's a fine example of Bhutanese architecture and an important administrative and religious site.



Day 4: 

Hike to Taktsang Monastery

Embark on a hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched on a cliffside. This spiritual site offers breathtaking views and a profound sense of peace. The hike is both a physical and spiritual journey, culminating in an unforgettable experience of Bhutan's most revered monastery. Spend the evening in Paro, relaxing or exploring the town at your leisure.



Day 5:

Paro town and Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Paro and perhaps a final stroll through the town or a visit to a local artisan shop. Transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure, carrying with you memories of the serene Haa Valley and the spiritual journey to Taktsang Monastery.
